cam change from carb to efi

hi i am updating my 350/330 crate engine to the ramjet fuel injection setup . was just wondering if there is any gain to the added expense of swapping the cam and lifters to a roller setup. the car is a 59 chevy wagon and is mainly a cruiser . thanks

Any performance or fuel mileage gains for a cruiser would be minimal at best, and not worth the expense. IMHO A complete setup for a roller cam is over $700.00 .

Be aware that most FI likes cams with an LSA of 112-114. Lower/lumpier cams with more overlap will be harder to tune for.

spoke with comp cams and they rec extreme energy cam 12-416-8 which translates to a marine pleasure boat cam . i was thinking more in the lines of a 08 465 8 which i would have thought would be better. anyone have any experience with either of these or an opinion? thanks
