cam choice

Ok guys. I have a 91 s10 small block 350 of course. Its a 93 model block with an 868 model 700r4. The crank is turned 10/10. Stock heads headman headers. Regular cam. I have some FI heads that were freshly done awhile back seting at my buddies.they are withered 202 valve or 194s. What cam would be a good choice? I was looking at a lunar voodoo cam and lifter kit with a 454 lift. Is that too big?

The best choice of camshaft would be one chosen to match up with the static compression ratio of the motor. If you don't know the SCR of the motor, then you have no business choosing a camshaft for it.

While matching to the SCR may not be the only characteristic to help you make a choice, I can guarantee that if you don't match it up, you won't get the performance you are wishing for. Other input would be cylinder head flow figures, valve sizes, intake manifold design, CFM, transmission ratios, rear gear ratio, tire size, torque converter stall, etc., etc.
