cam choices (.502 - .526)

im doing a bit of work on my car and am stuck at cam choices.. do i stick with what i have for spend 275$ on something a little better... my car: 2400lb, 355/th350, holley systemax aluminum heads (2.02/1.60), holley double pumper w/750 proform center, dual plane holley, msd digital6, long tube 1 5/8th headers 2.5"exaust, 2500(or so) stall

i currently have the first cam part#50139
i'm looking at part#50101

concerns.. besides the choice of spending the money do i have enough compression... im running stock pistons... i do like the rough idle (the cam i have doesnt sound impressive)... performance wise... what kind of increase am i going to see from this cam upgrade?? right now on the 1/8th mile im running high 7's on street tires (7.9+)... what should i expect with this cam and a single plane intake??

thanks for the help
