Cam Degreed On Sbc

how hard is it to degree cam on a 1970 LT-1 370 hp mech cam and what do i
need to due this task, also time to do labor. is there a simple way to adjust valve lash procedure. i am using a COMP CAM mech. .520 intake x .540 exhaust lift.
any help

You will need a dial indicator and a degree wheel and a lot of learning about camshaft timing procedures before you attempt a task of this nature. This job can be rather complicated for the novice wrench and there are areas where if you make the slightest mistake, you coluld bend your valves, pushrods, or worst case scenario, pistons and cylinder block.
I suggest studying the data card that comes with your cam and the installation instructions very carefully then, and only then, if you are comfortable with your new knowledge, by all means, degree that camshaft!!!
Time to do the job the first time: priceless.
