cam help

i have a stock 350 that i would like to put a cam that has a noticeable lope with just putting carb, intake, headers and stall converter. My goal is to be streetable and not mess with the block and heads,i guess what i am saying is i would like more sound with some performance.I have a 383 that is built for performance already. Any recommendations would be helpful.NO thumper cams please.

You won`t find many here that recommend a thumper. Those are fad cams, all bark, no bite.
The cam I recommend is the Comp Cams High Energy line, The 268H.
It works with stock engines with lower compression ratios and gives it a nice idle.

I agree the 268 is anice all around cam, great for lower compression and works good on trucks and cars.

Since you don't want to mess with the heads you should stay under .460 lift with stock springs and rockers this would be a good cam selection :http://www.kmjent.com/cart/product.p...5&bestseller=Y the 108 ls will make the idle a little meaner, I would also degree it in at 2 degrees advanced.A Weiand Stealth intake should partner up good with it.
