Cam question

Hello everyone, I recently installed a new Crane Energizer Cam duration 226/226, lift .533/.533 with new lifters in a 73 Chevy 454 that I'm trying to do my first rebuild to. I talked to a Summit Racing tech and he said that cam would be no problem for this motor. My question is that some of the lifters sit dead on top of the lobes but some are not running exactly on the lobe. Is this normal? Something just seems off to me about it. The timing gear and cam gear are perfectly aligned. This is my first rebuild and am having a lot of issues with it. I was trying to insert an image of it, but can't. Please any help would be greatly appreciated on what the problem could be if any.. Thanks again..

Turn the engine over with the intake manifold off and watch the relationship between the cam lobes and lifters change. I think you'll see everything's fine. I would do this before you install the pushrods.
