Has anyone ever seen a cam or know anything about a cam with Manley stamped on the end of it?It is a big block chevy cam with according to the dial calipers 510 lift.I don't believe that Manley makes camshafts do they?Any help on this would be great. Thanks

They currently don't offer camshafts, but must have at one time, 'cause you've got one in your fist.

yes Manley sold cams. Your BBC Manley cam with .510" lift is very likely a Manley copy of the GM 396-375hp L-78 454 -450hp LS-6 street mechanical 242-242 @.050-.520" .520" 114LSA. As many of their cams were copies of the 60's era GM high perf cams of old.
There was also a street/marine GM BBC hyd cam with .510" lift.
221-235 @.050" .510 .510 114LSA Your manley cam could be a copy of this cam too.
Are there any other ID numbers stamped on either end of the cam? Sometimes they are hard to see. A strong light and a magnifying glass, helps.

If you have a BBC short block you can install the cam in it with a lifter and check the .050" lifter rise duration to verify which grind it is.
Or find the duration and timing specs using a Cam Doctor cam measuring tool.
Many good pro high perf engine builders have one for checking cams.
If one of the many Camshaft companies is close to you, they can check the specs for you also using the same tool.
