Cam Question

I have a 77 monte carlo with a 350 dual 2 1/2" exhaust high flow mufflers stock everything else to the motor. I was planning on redoing the heads polish them new seals. Once im done this what type cam would u recommend for power off idol up to 5000rpm ? Thanks.

Ona a tight budget.

Also planning on getting Flow tech headers. whats ur input on them only 136.95, good price ?

Well, for a mild street cam, I"d look at the Crane cams at Checker. Cam and lifters is only $119.99!!!

This is the one I'm going to use in my 350.

Its about the biggest one Crane makes WITHOUT having to change your torque converter. Should still idle good and provide good vacuum for your brakes and A/C controls.

More hypo Crane cams for chevys.

Competition Products has Elgin cam and lifter kits for $94.95 they have about every street cam you would want. They also have the complete kit that has the cam, lifters, springs, valve seals and retainters for $129. I really like Elgin products and they are CHEAP. competion products their website is garbage you have to get a catalog to see everything.
