Cam question....
With more exhaust lift.....on the almost the exact same cam give you more Torque?
Example- Comp Extreme has a 262 Cam, one for a SBC car and one for a 4 by 4. The only difference is the the truck 4 by 4 cam has a little more exhaust lift from .469 to .480. The other specs are identical. Any opinions?

I think it will. I think that the hp will increase more than the torque will.
It will also depend on the heads. If the heads could use more flow in the exhaust side, it will show a difference. If the exhausts flow too much as compared to the intake, you might loose power.

It should help. More lift will help take advantage of the higher flow numbers at the higher lifts.
