Cam selection

ive been hanging out on the fordsix forum and they told me that the 260 comp cam is a good cam but i should use tha clay smith dual pattern cam but the thing is that the clay smith cost 150+$ and the compcam 260 cost 119+$ and a smoother idle . all i want is a cam thats going to boost the torque in my inline six, its not like im trying to build a racing motor i just want to have better perfomance, as long as i have enough torque to dust a honda at the light. i'm going to make othert performance mods to the car like weber 2bbl bigger intake and exhaust valves, ect.... i still dont know witch route i should take. clay or comp

HEEEEEEEELLLLLLP!
