I'm currently running an L-79 (.222@.050 w .447 lift) that I saw in a Lingenfelder 383 build-up. It's just not cutting it. I'm going to switch to an XE274.

I've found that the 383 is wound about tight at 6000. The XE274 is advertised at 1800 to 5600.
