Post Cam Specs

I contacted the previous owner of my car, and he said that the motor has a 510 lift hydraulic cam.

Anybody know how aggressive this is?

thanks for the reply

This seems fitting, I hope, for a 350 from a '72 Nova (in my '66).

So I should expect some of the "issues" associated with "big" cams? (rough idle, power curve shifted upwards towards higher rpms)

Depending on the era the cam was ground, it could still be fairly mild. Lift plays less of a role in the drivability than does duration, so you'd need more specifics about the cam. At one time a .510 lift cam was ground with fairly long duration( poor idle, low vacuum, etc.) but that isn't neccesarily the case.
