never heard of a "69 350/350 crate engine"

If you are looking for the cam timing specs for a 1969 L-46 350hp 350ci small block that came in the 1969 corvette they are
222-222@.050 .450"-.460" lift 114LSA when installed using a stock GM timing gear set it is 1deg retarded (115 deg intake C/L)

This same camshaft is used on the 1973-1974 9:1 cr L-82 350/245 net HP corvette and camaro Z28 motor. It is also installed in GM's 350/290hp crate motor. As you can see from the power rating this camshaft does not like a low 8.5:1 cr or crappy 76cc smog era cylinder heads.

There are better aftermarket hyd cams of similar duration and rpm range that will make more hp and torque. eg: crane #113801 HMV-278 Isky #201271/281-12 or Isky 201271

Thanks.
I guess I worded that wrong. It is an over the counter CE short block. I was told by the guy that installed it it was a 350/350 with 11:1 forged pistons. I pulled the pan and found 4 bolt mains, forged crank, windage tray HV oil pump. The guy put 186 otc heads on it as well.

Would you suggest the same cams for this set up in a 65 Corvette? Edelbrock RPM intake, BG 750VS carb, MSD ignition, Hooker headers to side pipes, Richmond 5spd, 3.08 rear.

Thanks again.
