Cam Sprocket button question?

I am bldg a mopar 225, slant 6, and my motor definitely didn't have a sprocket stop. Should I be worried about not having one, advise thanks, Dana

Flat tappet cams in general don't use or need a cam button.

If you're using the stock type cam and lifters (flat tappet, early engines are "solid" lifters, later are 'hydraulic"), everything will be fine. The "rake" on the lobe will "spin" the lifter and "push" the cam to the rear.
