Camair dryer

A friend of mine with a body shop gave me this camair dryer as it no longer worked.I checked the heater element with an ohm meter and its open.Ive had two guys holding the tank and two guys with a pipe wrench with a piece of pipe for leverage and still cant break the fitting loose to replace the heater.Ant ideas?

I've got a camair dryer similar but doesn't have the heater.. been using it for about 7yrs and havn't had a prob yet.. i'd dissasemble it and use it without the heater.. imo
