turbo mufflers are usually pretty good for giving sound to an exhaust with out sounding like a pissed off bumble bee.
dynomax makes some good one. The hemi super turbos are some of the best flowing mufflers on the market and are pretty quiet if that is what you are after.general rule for turbo mufflers are they bigger the case size the better they flow.
I used to know a guy with 40 series flows on a v6 pickup that while not ricey wasn't good. just my 2cents

You need to change It!! Its against the rules to have a Camaro sound like a Import!

Run some flowmasters out the back and it will sound much better.

For a good sound, Altho it will not be extermely loud get a muffler from a Pontiac Bonneville (circa 2005) with the 3800 have a nice low rumble.

Thanks for the ideas. I think Im leaning towards either a turbo style muffler or a flowmaster. I always used flowmasters before, but then again Ive always driven a v8. Anymore ideas let me know...

NOT a flowmaster. Magnaflow or Dynomax are WAY better.

I had a flowmaster on my 4.3 V6. no matter what I did it still sounded the same, like a swarm of angry bees. IMO flowmasters just don`t sound right on a V6. The turbo muffler gives it a deeper tone and isn`t as loud as a flowmaster is. Besides that, the turbo sounds good when you tach it, the flowmaster still sounds like a swarm of bees at any rpm. On a V8 flowmasters sound great, I used to run them on my small blocks until I got tired of the raspy sound and everybody had flowmasters and i`m not one to follow the crowd so I went back to turbo`s. When I made the switch I didn`t notice any difference power wise and my car ET`d very close to the same.

I recommend magnaflows, always. They give a great tone, are pretty quiet, and are a strait through design. No baffles, chambers, or smaller tubes inside the muffler to cause any restriction whatsoever.
