camaro oil pressure switch?

Hey just wondering if anyone could give me a pic of a 1980 camaro oil pressure switch/sensor? I went to the local parts place to pick one up but I think they sold me the wrong thing. Also does anyone know if these cars use a switch instead of a sensor (a warning light instead of a gauge). Thanks for any and all help here.

Keith

They use a sensor that is plugged in on the rear of the block by the distributor if it just has a light. I thought 80 Z28s had a gauge, my 79 did.

The warning light switch and a oil gauge sender are different. Add to that if the car has a factory electric fuel pump it's different again for a power shut off to the pump if oil pressure is lost. Though I wouldn't expect a 1980 to be configured with a factory electric fuel pump.

You need to scope out what you've got so you can ID the correct type at the parts store.

If you do a search at RockAuto.com
you can see the part.
You´ll find oil pressure senders in Electrical-Switch & Relay.
