camaro Q's. orange paint and split bumpers.

every car show you go to has an orange camaro. mine is gold now and a second gen. 72 SS. with a white interior i kinda need the white stripes and orange is about the only color that looks good with them, well red and blue do to, but i have brown carpet and dash and an olive drab looking crappy stock colored area behind the dash under the windshield so if i went with blue i would have to paint that and the dash black. maybe not with red. but i've seen a real nice root beer color but they always have black stripes not white.

Q: does the world really need another burnt orange camaro? or should i avoid it? also, i can get the split bumper front end from a friend for $200. should i convert to the rs front? they are definitely worth more money.

and i also dont have a spoiler on it. but i have two 6 inch ones that go on it. i also have a whole parts car with a single bumper. do you guys like the 6 inch spoiler that wraps around the sides or should i try and find a 4 incher. btw the 4 inch spoiler was actually proven to lift the car rather than exert downforce.

IF it is a real SS..and the numbers match..it would be worth more money the way it is....not changed around..........IMHO

no. sorry

not this car. it's consourse material right now. everything is there and stock. worth like $8000. if it was painted show quality and hadda rs front it would be worth the going rate at autotrader.com about 15,000. it think there is a little bit of difference there. right now it's just a stock 200HP engine and stock color. nobody wants it. it's been for sale forever now. nada lists it at 12K. nobody called at 10 nor 9K. only 6500 were made in the 72 strike year. bfd! a local yocal here says he was offered 18 for his with a hopped up 383 or 400 it wasnt even the original engine. i dont believe him anyway but the guy who painted his car is going to paint mine at 5K. insurance is paying cause it was just vandalized so i will be getting alot more for my money. i want to drive it for a year or so before i sell it so i am wondering about the looks. rs fronts hands down get mo' money. it's a fact. whether or not it is documented. whether or not it's the factory color, a hot paint job will get more with this car as long as the car was disassembled when it was painted so you cant see any old paint. for some reason these second gen's just havent seen the price jump of other early seventies cars, and i think it's cause the body style was the same till 74 and the second gen itself lasted for 11 years, until 81. ugh! the seventies and eighties really sucked for exactly that reason! check this out: http://www.nastyz28.com/gallery/1970/hugger.jpg
