Hi all,

I am desperatly seeking help to find a cheap 1st gen camaro. I know that Im throwing everyone off by saying cheap and 1st gen camaro in the same sentence. I have a 15 yr old daughter that makes us take her to the classic car place every weekend. She has been looking for a camaro for the last year. We almost lost $7,000.00 on ebay trying to get one. What a terrible deal that was. Broke her heart. She keeps looking everyday. She has come to the realization that she may have to get a fixer upper and has even elected to take shop class at school so she can learn to work on cars. I know most parents wouldnt go this far for a 15yr old girl, but she has had a very hard couple years. She lost her hair due to some freak medical condition. We had to pull her from school kids were so mean. They would even try to pull her fake hair off!! So I now I wanna get her a car so she can drive by all those little brats and be like, whats up now! i know that sounds childish but hey its my kid you know. Anyway if anyone can tell me where i can look to find good deals I would appreciate it. This little girl appreciates the great classics and will make all you hotrod guys proud.

Have you tried Craigs list, I've bought some stuff off there. Sorry to hear about your girl. How much are you willing to spend and what's your idea of "fixing up"? Also, have you checked the classifieds on this site?
