camaro suspension

i have a 67 camaro with rear mono leaf springs and traction bars, my question is i want to upgrade with hotchkis multi-leaf springs and a rear stabilizer bar with no traction bars. will this new combination wheel hop? i have no wheel hope with my current combination but im looking for a combination that wheel tighen the car up and turn better(less body roll). any thoughts?

Yes insted of buying the multi leafs and getting rid of the traction bars, simply buy the hotchkins antroll bar. (I take it this is what your talking about when you say stabilizer bar)

If I Go To The Multi Leaf And Anti Sway Bar Do U Think I Will Even Need Traction Bars?

yes you would need traction bars with ANY leafspring setup, unless you have somekind of trailing arm or latterbar/4 link system.

Camaro suspension

It depends on how much horsepower and traction you have. I put a pair of Global West multi leaf rear springs on my 67 Camaro and had no problems with rear wheel hop until I added about 100 horsepower and stickier tires. Now that the tires have a couple thousand miles on them and aren't as sticky I can launch pretty hard and wheel hop isn't a problem again. Although wheel spin sure is! BTW, a rear sway bar doesn't amount to much on a rear leaf spring street car.
