came across a 3947801 427 intake in the basement,

are these intakes any good for anything these days?

i came across one in the basement last night cleaning it out and junking stuff., been in storage 25+ years. time to get rid of stuff finally..

info i found on it:

One Year Only 1969 Corvette L36 427ci 390hp Low Profile

High Performance Intake Manifold

Casting #3947801

Oval Port Heads and 4BBL Rochester

true?

or is it junk?

fillig a junk car full of scrap to take to the shredder

also would a 3 speed manual saginaw from a 55-57 chevy be junk?

3741357 GM casting on side shift cover

or a 1969 120mph cluster and bezel from a 69 mustang? without tach.

pointless to keep also right?

just wanted some opinions

can actually see some floor of the basement now, mountains of parts outside now though..

hmmm...

mess.,.

thanks

Stick that sucker on Ebay as someone out there is bound to be restoring a Corvette of that vintage.

it would be valueable to a 69 vette owner , find out what the production # were for the 390 hp 427 then decide what too sell it for on ebay, I think you can put a reserved bid on it, if you don't someone might only put a bid of a couple dollars on it.

You were kidding aout scrapping it right?! I bought one 25 years ago for $25, sold it back to the same guy 15 years ago for $100. Asked him what he's take for it for another friend 5 years ago and he wanted $200 firm and got it. I saw one go for $200 on eBay just a few months ago. It may or may not be worth that much but 2 people were willing to pay that much for nice ones.
