I am building a 57 short box ford F100. It has a camero front stub of unknown year. I need to buy new A-arm bushings to reinstall the front end with the stiffer springs I have purchased. How can I get bushings to match the upper and lower A arms if I do not know the year of the camero donor car.

70 through 81 should all be the same and is the most prevalent of years used to "camaro clip" vehicles like yours was.

There are actually two different bushing sets that cover those years. There is one for the early ones up to about 74, and the other fits the later ones. As I recall, the lower arms on the early ones had two different diameters on the front and rear bushings, while the later ones, had both bushings the same diameter.

Thanks for the correction- I ve run into this before and guess I got lucky picking the year- Dint know there was a year/ design break between 70-81 glad somebody knew that- it may be helpfull to me at a later point!
