Post Camshaft identification

I know this topic comes up a lot, but I bought a Chevy with a 350 engine and I'm trying to determine what cam is in it. Such as the lift and duration? Hydraulic or solid? It does have a set of roller rockers. Does anyone have a simple solution without having to tear it down and pull the cam?

No simple way. but with a degree wheel and a dial indicator on the pushrod end of your rocker you can get enough to determine it's effective operating rpm.
