Here is a bit tamer version of this basic 307 w ported 416 heads build.
Uses a 10" 3500 stall and 4.10 to 4.56 gears.
Use Lunati street performance solid lifter cam # 401A3LUN
272-282 238-248 .485 .503 112LSA Use lunati 73943 @1.70"

just a little tamer but still a barrel of fun.
Shift it around 6700 rpm or so.

Ditch the powerglide trans. Its going to be lame behind a 307.
Get a th350 and 10" 3500 high stall.
