Can a 1999 4l60e case be used for 2002 with bad case lugs
 

2002 case with bad lugs. Have a 1999 case center section can it be used with 02 valve body, plate, and gaskets, harness and all the rest of the 02 parts.

If the case casting numbers match, no problem. Otherwise, maybe.

GM made changes in the valve body in 2001 in the area of the TCC regulator passages, gaskets, separator plate. i would suggest use of the 1999 v-body , separator plate and matching gaskets for the 1999 case

Nope...2001 GM changed the TCC casting. If you had the VB and Spacer plate you would be good to go.
