Hi Guys

Got a problem with getting my '66 ford ignition out of the car in order to get it sandblasted.

I read somewhere that I'm to put my key into the ignition and turn it to:
access. Then place a paper clip into that little hole directly under my key.

I'm to push it (paper clip) further into the hole and turn the key further left -
(counter-clock wise ) At the point I pull out the ignition switch; WRONG !

It just doesn't happen.
Now what guys

I have all the gauges out of the dash and can partly see the ignition switch,
headlight switch also.

QUESTION PLEASE:

1. Am I to push/pull/yank on some button/tab in back of the dash in order to RELEASE THAT STUBIN SWITCH ?

Need all your wisdom on this one guys.

thats how you remove the guts of the lock .pull key as you turn and see .
believe you then screw the bell around it off
