can i get a custom cam built??

i was just wondering if i or anybody out of the blue can get a custom cam made?

i went to comp cams web page but it didn't mention anything about custom grinds

unless somebody can tell where to locate a (preferably a comp cam) cam w/ spec. like this

Duratin 230*/244*
@.050 lift
Lift .510/.540

Comp 3-4 days right now.

They probably have a cam like that already made.

Go see your local cam grinder and be prepared to share your entire combination with him and let him grind one for you. There are literally hundreds of grinds he can use that will out perform in your combination then whats offered off of the shelf at comp cams.

Lot's of custom grinders around.
Scott Brown
Partridge at Bullit Cam's who is outside of Memphis. He just love's to regrind Comp stuff.
I gave him an old Purple Mopar stick and got my own done according to my CAR'S specs.

Actually those exact specs are for a comp cam 290HR-12
