Can I Get Some Photoshop Help Please?

I have been working on a rendering for my build. I have worked a photo of a similar truck into something I want to build, but, I have been using a program called GIMP and I am clueless as to how to do some things with it.

Can someone change the paint on this to a dark cherry with black fenders for me?

I also like the idea of a 2-2.5 inch chop

You know maybe it's too short as well I should have shortened a little less

here's something really quick to tie you over. It's not perfect but you get a good idea.

Wow, that was alot faster than I was expecting to be sure. Thank you.

Anyone else want to try something different?

That's exceptional Valkyrie5.7 since the pic is so small and the side has the glare on it. I don't have gimp so I'm watching how you guys work.

I actually just used CS2. Thank you for the compliment ;)

GIMP sucks, I have done a coupe of pictures and it works. I have made multiple changes to this picture, but it could definitely be more user friendly. I am in awe as to how fast valkrye did the colour change and it looks great especially having taken only minutes.

Thanks guys. It's actually really simple and fast to do a quick color change for most finishes. Just the magnetic lasso tool and the Hue/Saturation function. It works for most colors.

GIMP works ok for the most part. but without instructions, it's kind of hard to get used to... I mostly use the auto select scisors.

Hey matt, it would be a lot easier if you had a straight on shot of those wheels.

not sure what size the wheels are, so I don't know if they should be turned into a low profile tire or not.. picture is quite small, but I did drop it a bit.. being honest, I don't think the wheels would fit well

matts37chev 05-06-2010 04:33 PM

i tried finding a straight on shot of the wheels, just not very hard ;)
the stock wheels on the car are 16 and going to 18 and 17 or 20 and 18
i mostly just wanted the front lowered
