Can I put a one piece headliner in a 53 chevy pick-up 5 window

I finally have the pvc foam board up on the inside of the chevy truck 5 window. I was hoping to be able to stretch the leather to cover the whole roof and down past the the corner windows to the belt line.Is it possible to do it in one piece?
If not what is the best way to cover the interior.
Thanks.
steve

You could if you had a big enough leather hide, but you might still need to tailor the corners. Check out this thread: Custom Headliner for '36 Ford Pickup

I am pretty sure that the hide I have is big enough. I was wondering if I would be able to stretch enough to do the four corners.I though I would do a trial run on the 1/4 inch foam and see what wrinkles come up.
If I have to do some type of pleats or something how should I go about planning this,

Thanks for all help
Steve

You have to plan what you want to do outside of the truck and then install it in the truck. You need a way to attach the new headliner board figured out, and be able to take it out to work on it until it is installed permanently. You can't do this all inside the truck.

I am planning to do the headliner like the way Don Taylor does it in his book Custom Auto Interiors. Glueing the headliner to the inside of the truck> I was hoping to get some ideas of were the problem areas will be on this truck.
Does anyone have pictures of what has been done to Advance Design style trucks.
I plan to go to the Good Guys show in Charlotte next weekend, maybe I can get some ideas there.
Please chime folks I NEED HELP.

yea that helps.
I can see splitting the leather where the cardboard ended. Did you use one piece of leather to go around the windows.
That has me thinking?
Thanks
