can i use a 4L60E tranny & computer with a carb. engine
 

I want to put a 4L60E with the original computer behind carburated 350. Anyone know what would be involved in hooking up the computer. IE: throttle position sensor, speed sensor etc.

Check with Painless Wiring, they make stand alone wiring systems for this application. My friend did the exact same thing with an older camaro. It is a little on the expensive side, i think he paid around 400 dollars for his harness. I think this is the simplest way, unless you are an electrical engineer.

I was told that a computer from a diesel would work and not as expensive as an after market wiring??
