can some one identifie the rear end

im trying to identifies this rear end, i can find a tag or any casting marks, if you look close at the pics theirs two fill plugs one on the center, and the bottom bolt can be accessed by a socket. so i have no idea ive been threw the internet and i cant identify it from any of the web sites.

Looks like an 8" Ford to me but with all the grime on it, it's going to be hard to see any kind of markings...

Look for a tag in this area

Same story about the grime. But, I say 8 inch also. 9 inch, the lowermost nut for the third member is only accessable with a wrench, you can't get a socket on it. The 8 inch you can get a socket on all of them. junior stocker.

ok im positive its a 8 incher now, thanks for that web site i book marked that awsome site.
anyone have any cheep web sites to get posi for a 8 inch, and gears. or can anyone tell me if you can over shim the one legger to get a poor mans posi outa the 8 incher till i can get my 9 inch built.
