Can someone ID. this piece of trim??

Any one know what this came off of .We were thinking a 68 vette or a 68 camaro.???

Looks like the chrome that goes on the front edge of the hood on a 65 Mustang.

This piece is 41 3/4 '' from tip to tip ,how long is the one in your pic?
