I have one of these Chevy engine front mounts, but it's different then the one shown- mainly due to the fact it was an adapter to mount a Chevy engine into a Jeep when doing engine conversions.

It should bolt to EITHER engine small OR big block, If I remember right those bolt locations are the same for both engines.

Thanks for all the great responses.
There are definitely no numbers or letters on it, just "HURST".

The only other thing I found was this, looks like a piece of tape, but it might of been where the number was.

And one other thing, the distance from where the tabs were bolted is 10 3/4", different than the 11 1/8.

I have one also

I know I'm coming in to this thread REALLY late but I just found it by chance...
I have one of these Hurst mounts and know it's history because I bought it brand new in 1968 and have had it ever since! Mine was for a sbc that I was trying to transplant into a 1951 Ford Club Coupe but I just didn't have the knowledge at age 16 to accomplish this job. If you look at the mount, you can see the frame adapters still attached. The mount was bolted to the front of the sbc and the other 2 adapters were to be bolted or welded to the frame rails. Then there was a rubber biscuit between the two which is still there. Don't know if mine has any value or not but I just happened to dig it out of some old stuff I had in boxes and I'm going to clean it up and mount it on the wall of my garage for old times sake!

And btw, in case you're wondering, the SW guage in the box is one of a set of 3 that I bought in 1969 and had run in my 66 Chevelle SS. I kept them when I sold the car. I wish I had sold the guages and kept the car!!!
