lol no not that rod the ones on my pistons they are 350 rods but how do you tell if they are the 5.7 rod or what any help on this one?

To determine whether you have a 5.7" or 6.0" (these measurements are center-to-center, i.e. center of big end to center of small end): remove the piston pin and rod bearing, measure the rod beam, from bearing surface to the pin hole. Now add 1/2 of the rod big end diameter AND 1/2 of the small end diameter to the measurement and you have the center to center length. This figure should come out to (or very, very close to) either 5.7" or 6.0" as these are the MOST POPULAR rod lengths for SBC, however there are custom rods manufactured in other lenghts also. Measure carefully! hOPE THIS HELPS.

ok guys thanks very much for the help now im gonna go measure these things id say i probably got the 5.7 rods but gonna measure to be sure thanks again guys
