[76IMP]

i have a bench seat for my 76 imp that got knocked on the floor (it was leaning against the wall) it landed on a brick... well, it was stored in my back garage so i didn't notice it until now. It didn't rip the seat but it left a impaled it, leaving a BAD spot... so can this be repaired, and if so... could i perform it??? any replys would be very helpful, thanks Ian

It should return back to its original shape on its own....How long since you removed the brick?

A warm blast from a hair dryer might help. I would leave it for a few days 1st and see what happens.

ya, i'd leave it for a few days too - if it's still not coming out, give it a quick shot with a heat gun - just till it's getting hot (do not melt it) then lay something cold over it (I use an aluminum block that has been stored in the freezer - for the flat areas but a bag of frozen peas will do just the same)
