When I started working my parents began charging me rent or had me chip in with the living expenses.
If they don't then that's more money for you.

Hot VW's

I worked at a V.W. shop here in Sacramento CA. called BUGFORMANCE.Although I now own a 1932 ford ,I never tire of sweet V-dubs. They can be made very fast and more parts are available than you can believe.Keep in mind 1967 and earlier always have a better resale value. For some very cool ratrod style V-Dubs go to volksrods.com.Later model cars can look older when hacked up and smacked up!!!!

I'm not a Bug guy, but I have to admire the cool approach of some of them. These are great examples of people taking them to their full potential. I hope yours turns out like you want it.

Funny how a VW post on a Hot Ros forum gets so many post. It's got to be because the VW's are just cool. Did you ever say what years the bugs were?? I have a '72 that I drive daily to work. If I keep it much longer, it will be in store for an engine swap. VW's will always be cool in my book. Body parts are plentiful and cheap, but big horsepower can cost you. You can check out engine swaps and more at many websites. Here are a couple.

well i was gunna quit

.. my dad isnt gunna let me convert to a manual.. which makes my project a ratrod but no hp.. and no tranny really.. so i'm done

then i got pissed at him...soo

so i'm digging out a piece of crap to rodd.. and then when i feel like comming back from being pissed i will..
well i'm still staying a member.....just not talking to my dad for a while...but hes not going to let me chop the autostick so i mean its no use fixing it.. so i'm diggin out the pos.. and making a rod and then patching the autostick .. to drive it for the heck of itthen after ther rod is done i'll restore the autostick... or just work on it less than the other.... i just want the rod first..but something to drive.. so yeah.. i'll get one running.. and then restore and build a rod at the same time.. because it'll be the same thing.. just some cuttin on the rod and some welding on the restoration

thats my other sites posts..

so yeah my attitudes changed in the past hour because i'm tired of the crap.. so yeahh.. i'm gunna prove him wrong

fuel line is full of crap..
gotta change it ..

take the engine out..

do a few things to it..

then as my grandpa said

" get that fuel mess straightened.. and get SOME braking.. and you can get you a five gallon bucket and drive round the yard since you got the seats out.. and you dont have to make those noises in the front seat no more HAHAHA..(jokingly).." haha

Volkswagen does creates excellent and elegant cars... Also notable is their excellent VW OEM parts. They're way too hot than Mustangs
