when i read the post ffrom sean's about the kids lickin the TV.. there is a commerical on Cartoon network where a little charcter walks around saying TVTVTVTVTVTV.. then he licks the TV.. and he says TV tastes funny.. and walks off screen

the carb on my current Vw says 34 PICT 3.. and the 71s were the first to have it ..

oh well

is is possible for me to get about a total HP somewhre beween 100-200 HP in my bug without drastic changes?

but i want it to look stock..

not with the rear hood off and the exaust comming out the side..

i want it to look like a stock bug..

and wait for some one to step up to the line with me and my bug.. and i want it to go..

but not drastic...

You could do it with a bigger engine. But a stock look means giving up better carburetion and exhaust. Both big factors in horsepower. Look on line at some of the pics at Hot VWs for ideas.
Man I'd be happy just to surprise them by the simple fact I beat them with an old air-cooled VW.

but how much would ported heads get ?

.. i have another engine that i'm going to be building to go in that car.. so when body's done.. all i got to do is drop 'er out.. and then another in

i always wanted to take a bug and swap the front fenders and the back fenders, then take the hood and put it on the back with a 40 ford fiberglass front hood. I did it on a model when i was a kid and it looked cool.

and carb upgrades .. i can mod the rear end to hold it

but my parents run a bar.. and this guy owns a bodyshop, car lot and a mechanics garage.. so its a mini used car dealershop.. and i want to work there.. and my parents see the man that owns it some time .. maybe he can hook me up and let me work on my car on the side .. and start working early at 14 =D

my dad called..

and was like what are you doin.. i was like.. umm drawin a concept car i drew on DeltaCad <<free autocad ] and he said you got a job.. and i said where?.. he said at Tommys...

because i mentioned it to my mom

there was some confusion in what i plan on doing..


the white/formally yellow one was the car that has good tranny and pretty good body...but no engine
red one.. half floor missing and bad tranny no engine
beige one.. good engine good tranny (autostick one )
in the barn are 2 sets of good heads, one good engine.. and one locked up engine
i wanted to lower this one 3 inches.. suicide doors...and tinted windows on this one.. and take the auto stick out.. and put the tranny out the yellow/white one..
then take the good engine from the barn and get it rebuilt with more HP and put it in this one ... and then when i finish this one .. i'll take the auto stick put it in the white/yellow one.. and then this engine thats currently in the car i'll have it rebuilt and put in the white/yellow one.. and it will be stock..
because.. now i have a job at the car shop and my dad said he would buy me something to drive when the time came but i doubt it..
and i can get help with it at work too. hope yall can follow this.. its confusing
