If you have a Menards building store near you, in the back they have a computer that you can punch in anything you want: siding, windows, doors, overhang soffits, etc. and it will give you a materials price list. Then with that in mind call some builders for estimates. That's what I did and I am happy in my NEW GARAGE!! (p.s.- and my opinion only... Morton and Wick were double the price for the same stuff)

Well i found my dads old heavy equipment magazine. There are a bunch of adds in there. I gave one of them a call, that had the cheapest prices. a 50X80X16 (thats 16 feet high) with one walk in door and a 14X20 sliding bay door on one end will be 13K. (K for them to completly assembly it. The insulation i think adds like 5K or so. But i think thats what we are gonna get is the 50X80. Like i said the 50X80 was right around 13K, a 50X60 is like 11500. So for 1500 more we get 20 feet more of length, so i think its worth it.

One of my buildings is 16 foot, I'll never do that again.

Keep the ceiling as low as you can.

Well thats what i thought, but my dads owns a semi, so we need that extra high ceiling, besides he wants to build some kind of second floor in it. Not to cover the whole thing, just to utilize some space for storage or something or car parts.
