I'll respond just so you know someone looked......but I don't have a clue what it is. It's not a Ford and I really don't think that body go's with that chassis. Kinda looks like an old truck chassis with the size of the frame rails and that solid front wheel. Ok, who's next????

Maybe its a 1930 " Rouhstinbondo " Just kidding. It does look like a rather beefy chassis, The nose looks familiar though. I like it

31fordcoup,

Hard to tell with only one picture. Do you have any pics from different views?

No. Sorry I don't. I can try and get some more. It is actually in a near by town and one of my co-workers was trying to identify it before he considered making an offer on it. My co-worker just sent me the picture via email.

I was thinking Chevy also. The grille in the car looks a bit newer, maybe 33-44. The body looks like a 29-30 year.

31,

Ok I will take a wild stab at this. I think it is a pile of parts. The rear end has a five lug bolt pattern and the front is from a truck because it has six lug bolt pattern. The placement of the steering box seems to be 50's truck and frame. the grille sheet metal is from a 30's chevy car I am not sure about the front window, it looks like it is from the same year car but can not be sure without better pics.

Offer the person a hundred dollars and see what they say.

It's a '31 Henway.

Now, I will wait patiently for someone to ask "What's a Henway?

I agree, looks to me like bits and pieces of different vehicles. Looks like they "shaved" the doors. How the heck are you supposed to get into the crazy thing?

You're too young to have seen us guys jumping over the edge of the door or climbin' in off the rear tire.

So it never had doors? Like i said it looks like someone "shaved" them off like people do with door handles and gas lids and stuff. The primer spots look as tho they primed over some seams where the doors used to be.
