Can you help me identify these 32 Ford spindles?

I'm getting ready to start on a project my father-in-law left us. In particular, I'm trying to decide if I need to redo anything on the front suspension. It's a 32 Ford truck, 4" drop axle, one leaf removed from spring. I've learned that it's popular to use the 37-48 spindles, but that's not what these are.

Can you help me identify these spindles
Left Spindle
Right Spindle

I also have these spindles but don't know what they are.

Thanks for your help. I've got a lot to learn.

Mark

First two (L-R) look like Ford pickup spindles. Pre-Dual I-beam (66?). The last one is the pre 48 passenger spindle. Both designs are good. The passenger piece is a better looking spindle. Modern parts and adapters are available for both..

I'm starting to wonder if they aren't modified Model A spindles. It looks like he modified them to use with the new dropped axle. I'll look closer tonight for welded tierod holes.

Thoughts?

The two spindles shown in "these spindles" sure look like 41-48 to me and I would use those vice the ones that have the rotors in the pic. I am not fond of pitman arms with bolts: I like the cast, one piece design.

I can't say for sure because of the angle the pictures are taken from. The '42-48 spindles had a square section to bolt the backing plates on,the 37-41 used a round section and previous to theat they had round tops and squared off sides. Look thru Ebay at the various years and see if you can match them up. Speedway motors has a spindle ID in their catalog and you can probably see it on-line. www.speedwaymotors.com
