Can you help me tell what motor is in this 46 ford?

My dad just got a 46 ford from a guy he knows. Guy know nothing about it.

I popped the hood to get the engine casting number.

The block says gm ( i assume general motors)

134 888-3..........it could possibly be 134 388-3

The first 8 is hard to read, it looks at though part of it is missing.

I pulled the valve cover, the rocker arms are mounted on a straight shaft. The only numbers i see on the head is 5 3

Ill try and get some pics up also

Also the intake says 170617 4bbl intake

Any certain places i should look? I know that its an old motor...any help would be great. Thanks

Hard to tell when I blow it up it starts running out of pixtals to make a clear picture.

My candidate list would be, in order:

Buick Nail head

Oldsmobile Rocket

Ford Y block

Lincoln Y block
