Im pretty sure this motor i found is a 350, the code is 3970610 ......then below that it has Gm and then the number 20. Id like to know what it originally came out of,what hp/trq it was rated at, and it is a 350. Thanks Ok here is what i found near the waterpump on the passenger side. v0110 CKS
I can`t find a 3970610 casting, I did find 3970010 which is either a 302, 327 or 350. if this is the right casting number, then get the suffix code off the block`s deck on the passenger side. then go to nastyz28 and look up the code, it`ll tell you what it is and what it came out of, good luck.
The number V0110CKS,, this is what i came up with... V- biult in Flint, 0110 January 10th motor was built, and CKS they used that motor in 1972 Z-28 with 255 HP and 1973 in it was in A,F and B cars with 145 HP, A cars were the big car B cars were the midsize. can't remember what the F was
If the A, F, and B is the body style, F is Firebird/Camaros, and I think B is the Grand Prix, Cutlass, Monte Carlo, and El Camino until the made their move to the 'G' body designation in the early '80's
I did find out for sure, it came outta a camaro ORIGINALLY. Thanks all
