I am going to attempt my first candy paint job. Can anyone give me advice on paint manufacturers? Which is the best or least desirable to use? What should I avoid? The "painting" is not an issue for me, the right product for the job is where I have concerns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

CNY.PT PPG is a very good paint in what ever medium you choose. House of Kolor is a bit more exspensive but is also a very nice paint company, and since they are more geared to custom paint applications such as candy's and marblizers I would have to recomend House of Kolor.

I HAVE USED HOUSE OF KOLORS TO DO CANDY KOLORS AND IT WORKS GREAT, THEY ARE MANY DIFFERENT BASECOATS TO CHOOSE FROM DEPENDING ON WHAT COLOR YOU WANT TO HAVE I HAVE ONLY USED A GOLD BASE COAT FOR THE KANDY APPLE RED COLOR. THERE IS ALSO A WEBSITE FOR HOUSE OF KOLORS AND THEY CAN SEND YOU ANY INFO YOU NEED FOR ORDERING THE PRODUCTS AND HAS A GUIDE OF WHAT PRODUCTS YOU NEED TO GET FOR WHAT YOUR PAINTING. GOOD LUCK AND SEND PICS.
