Can't Get Truck To Run

I have changed my fuel filter and the truck won't start. Could there be air in the lines. How do I get my truck to run again?

are you familiar with priming a carb?
i'd try that, could be your fuel pump hasn't filled up the new filter yet. prime it and see if it'll fire.

remove the air cleaner lid, pour about 1/4 cup of gasoline into the carb, replace the lid, and turn the key. if it still won't start, you have another problem which we'll work on later.

damn. tbi setup.

when you turn the key on to the start position, do you hear the fuel pump make a very slight humm ing noise for a few seconds?

what year, model truck etc?
reason i ask, maybe it has an inertia switch to shut off the fuel pump incase of an accident...... most fuel injected cars have them.

jacking the rear up might have tripped it.

no run?

1st is there fuel in the tank?
2nd undo line at carb
attach a piece of hose into a clean clear container
blow into tank if u use a compressor be careful not to rupture the tank w/ to much pressure use a piece of hose w/ a clean rag to make the seal and blow w/ your mouth is the safest way then u should get some fuel
check for a leaks @ connections
check fuel for water
do not use a cup to pour fuel down the carb get a dawn bottle and clean it out real good and dry
just in case it wants to backfire up the carb
if all that don't work its something else
its one of three things fuel, mechanical or electrical
good luck
