Can't git no journal action

Fellas, I've tried to up load an entry three times under my user name topfuel55. All tree times after I type the whole thing( no small feat) when I submit it tells me I can't submit under someone else's name?! I did see today another user name "topfuel". Is my username a problem? I can post on threads but not journals?! I would love to get my journal started, need help. Thanks in advance topfuel55 or Danny

Also, to save yourself the headache of retyping the entries, try doing them in your word processing program (or notepad etc.) and them saving the entry on your hard drive. That way, if the upload to your journal fails, you still have the entry ready to go again. Just copy and paste from your word processing program right into the journal entry editing box.

What cboy said.

Really, anytime you are posting a large chunk of text to the web, you should have previously saved it.

A quick-and-dirty way to do this (not as good as saving it in a text file) is to click in the text box, "select all" (usually control-A, or command-A), and then copy (usually control-C or command-C). This will copy the text to the clipboard. If you lose it in mid-transfer, you can always paste it (usually control-V or command-V) into a text file.
