car radio

Hi, I am new at this my name is Carol . I think this is a great way to get answers to our problems , keep up the good work.
Now my problem is my car radio & clock every time I start the car I have to reset them .I just got the car so I don"t know the history if there were problems before. The car is a 1993 Ply. sundance 4Cly. 2.2. Thanks

Welcome Carol! Two possibilities come to mind, improper installation of aftermarket radio (keep alive unswitched power lead not connected) or weak battery causing low enough voltage to radio during cranking to reset clock and programmed stations. I've had both problems in the past.
