when i bought this car the kid gave me this application for services affidavit from Titles Unlimited INC. The kid that sold it to me skipped the title onto me, the application sais it was sold for 4500 when it was really sold for 3500(to me) i payed cash, i dont know if that matters or not. the part the seller has to fill out is all done by the original seller. my question is should i fill this thing out now, before i put all this money and they wont believe my that it was sold for 3500, or can i do it when its all finished.

by the way the sellers name is Vincent McManus, from PA, any one know him, or he might be a member.

Get the title sorted out ASAP.....................you may be wasting your time if you don't.

Why was the selling price wrong?

I would have gotten a bill of sale for the propper price. Up here, when a title is changed from one owner to the next, the buyer must pay sales tax on the sales price. The lower it is on the bill of sale, the better.

The only difference it will make is the extra $1000 that you will have to pay the tax on when you get it titled in your name.

When I bought my 37 Dodge the guy put $800 instead of $8000 which I didn't correct...not a good move on my part. And his business is selling cars, rods and muscle cars too???

I got it to work but I had to right click and select view image, then copy the address without the index number at the end. Huh. Oh well, anyway check the paint on that boat!

That means the car doesnt have a title .
Thats a title co.thats gets one for you if there are no leins.
And if its not stolen.

Around here you just fill out an affidavit of "lost or stolen title" and if the title is clear the DMV sends you a new one.

I guess Cali still does a few things right.

thanx for the compliments guys. i went to the secretary of state and they said if it doesn't have a title a police officer has to inspect it and note the engine, frame, body parts, everything just about.
