What about "Stroker Ace" by Charlie Danials Band, They go like...

Stroker Ace was born to race
He had a mean streak ten feet wide
A son of a gun with a taste for fun
And more than his share of pride
Take a dirt road curve with the Devil's nerve
And make a car dance across the mud
Haulin' shine was his regular line
'Til the track got in his blood

He was a real hot shot and he bragged a lot
But man, that fool could drive
Cause he loved the feel of a steering wheel and the girls with the bedroom eyes
And in a racing tight or a bar room fight
Old Stroker stole the show
A back street blazer and a real hell raiser and a racetrack Romeo

Mama lock your daughters up that wild bunch is back in town
And them little girls get frisky when they hear that racecar sound
They bringin out the yellow flag, somebody's brakes have failed
There's an oilslick on the inside and a wreck along the rail
You better stand on it, Stroker, cause a bandit's on your tail.

It's a downright joy for a country boy
When he hears them engines moan
But you gotta hang tough and it gets real rough
When you're out there on your own
Cause they'll push you around, they'll knock you down
When you're up there against the wall
And you always know when an engine blows
That a man can't win 'em all
You could push that car just a little too far any Sunday afternoon
And if you break your neck in some d*** fool's wreck they'd forget about you soon
But old Stroker Ace was born to race and it's worth all the trying
Just to drink champagne in the Victory Lane and to hear that concrete whine

Stroker get your dander up this ain't no time to lag
You've got to make a lap up if you want to take that checkered flag
Number ten is closin' in to even up the score
It's time to wave bye-bye and put the pedal on the floor
You better stand on it Stroker cause you're blowin' off their doors.

Spoken:
Blow their doors off, Stroker. Stand on it, Son. Ah, you good lookin' devil, you.

LOL...nothin like "Little Deuce coupe".......a lot of Beach Boys stuff is awesome for cruising, specially if you have one of those 80's station wagons with the fake wood on the side

Lyrics from "Shut Down" by Beach Boys

Tach it up, tach it up
Buddy gonna shut you down

It happened on the strip where the road is wide
Two cool sharps standin side by side
Yeah, my fuel injected stingray and a four-thirteen
Were revvin’ up our engines and it sounds real mean

Tach it up, tach it up
Buddy gonna shut you down

Declinin’ numbers at an even rate
At the count of one we both accelerate
My stingray is light the slicks are startin’ to spin
But the four-thirteen’s really diggen’ in

Gotta be cool now power shift here we go

Superstock dodge is winding out in low
But my fuel injected stingray’s really startin’ to go
I’m gettin’ the traction I’m ridin’ the clutch
My pressure plate’s burnin’ that machine’s too much

Pedal’s to the floor hear the dual quads drink
And now the four-thirteen’s lead is startin’ to shrink
He’s powered by ram induction but it’s understood
I got a fuel injected engine sittin’ under my hood

Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down

Mike

Someone mentioned this before, This is a rocker. Trans-am By Sammy Hagar. She’s American made;
You know what I mean.
Red on black -
She’s a street machine.
Sets ten inches off the ground with a custom plate...
It says “IEATZ28”.
Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Yeah, a highway wonderland.
Yeah, and ‘79
‘ll be the end of the road
If you want horsepwer
Overload
Ooh, if you like kicks,
Just take her to the floor
And you’re red lined and shiftin’ gears,
Hear the engine roar
Of my Trans Am
Come on, catch me if you can
In my Trans Am!
Highway wonderland! Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Highway wonderland!
She shines on the street,
Yeah, and she shies at the heat,
And she shines in my Baby’s eyes,
And she shines on
Every other guy’s Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Highway wonderland!

T...R...A...N...S...A...M... Trans Am!

From Daytona Beach
Down to Riverside:
If there’s a race,
She’s qualified!
And my 6.6
Gets a little too heavy
For a Big Boss Ford
Or a 350 Chevy.
Trans Am!
Come on, catch me if you can
In my Trans Am!
Highway wonderland! Trans Am!
Trans Am!
Me and my Trans Am!
Come on, catch me if you can
In my Trans Am!
Ooh, highway wonderland!

High...way...won...der...land!

This will start off a pretty decent cruising disk.
1-ZZ Top-My Hearts In Mississippi
2-Heard It In A Love Song-Marshall Tucker Band
3-Gettin' Better-Tesla
4-CopperHead Road-Steve Earle
5-Charlie Daniels-Uneasy Rider
5-David Allen Cole-Panheads Forever
6-John Fogerty-The Old Man Down The Road
7-Ramblin' Man-Allman Bros.
8-Flirtin With Disaster-Molly Hatchet
9-Black Water-Doobie Brothers
10-Black Crowes-Jealous Again

A CD that hits harder would be something like this....

1-Testement-Sins Of Omission
2-Slayer-Skeletons Of Society
3-Iron Maiden-The Trooper
4-Metallica-Breadfan
5-Sepultura-Propoganda
6-DRI-Beneath The Wheel
7-Megadeth-Wake Up Dead
8-Life Of Agony-River Runs Red
9-Pantera-Drag The Waters
10-Sanctuary-Taste Revenge

I have more but it will take me some more time.........I have alot of work to do to make the hard disc.I want that one. myself. There are only a couple of the songs on it that I need to acquire.I would not recommend driving on anything but a good country road while listening to the hard disc. You will probably end up with a ticket if that type of music is your style.I can not drive slow with that on.

Metallica: Fuel

Motley Crew: Kick StartMy Heart (When I get high, I get high on speed!)

And have you ever seen that guy Kazzar on Dream Car Garage? He's got one that has a killer sounding engine revving up and idleing then he kicks it off, "454 with a four on the floor, duece coupe coming at cha screaming for more (put the hammer to the floor?)"

I think it is for free download some where, you really need to check it out.

Oh yea, and a while back i posted some music from my buddies band, Southern Pride. one of the songs was "Ride in the Country". another good one to check out.
