Car wont Turn over
I have a 1990 Pontiac Firebird with a 350 small bock and a 5 speed transmission. i have pulled the transmission off and tried starting it and it didn't turn over.

I hate to ask, but you left the flywheel on the motor? Does it click, make any noise? Do you mean it won't rotate the motor at all? Did you disconnect any wiring?

yes i left the fly wheel connected and no i on the disconnecting the wiring and it will try turning over but it will stop and when i release the ignition it goes back to where it was.

Did you try rolling over the motor with a long bar and socket?
Sounds like battery is low or the solinoid on the starter is done, or the starter its self is gone.
