carb 760cfm vac secondary

i just got this carb and having a little problem when i fist take off with it i have a little bog what can i look for they say they are all set to run lol. it is on a 355CID chev motor. the motor is not stock thank you for the help

Make sure there is no play in the accel pump arm. It should be touching while the throtle is closed. With the throttle wide open you should be able to move the lever so there is at least .015 clearance between the lever and the arm. there are a lot of things that can cause bog. There are also several threads on here dealing with it and a lot of info on the Holley site
Small changes are the key to carb tuning.
